Effluent Management  

GQ have invested not less than RM 5 million on the operation and maintenance of wastewater treatment plant. The effluent discharge is closely monitored by internal team to ensure the discharge is adequately treated and harmless to the environment. Meanwhile, treated water also being regularly sent to third party, the weekly effluent reports are made available on government websites on a proactively basis.

Emission Management 

GQ installed vertical packed scrubbers to reduce toxic emission released to the environment. The emission levels had been monitored regularly to meet the DOE minimum stack emission levels.

Scheduled Waste Store

Scheduled Waste Management

  1. SW110 - Waste from electrical and electronic.
  2. SW204 - Sludges from wastewater treatment plant.
  3. SW321 - Rubber or latex wastes.
  4. SW409 - Empty containers contaminated with the chemicals.
  5. SW410 - Contaminated papers, rag, gloves with the scheduled waste.

All scheduled wastes are properly handled, labelled and safely stored in dedicated locations before being disposed by licensed collected which is approved by the DOE.
